No. 26 warrant was first issued to Lurgan District in 1798. 2 February 1829 shows the warrant with a Johusa Cherry, Lurgan, and a duplicate with Banbridge District. On the morning of 12 July 1848, LOL 26 was presented with a beautiful stand of colours by Mrs Saurin (nee Warburton, the sister of General Warburton, a famous Australian explorer) and the wife of the Reverend James Saurin. the Rector of Seagoe. In 1856 No. 26 was still with Lurgan District and in 1875 Henry McCrory was Master and two duplicates were working in Banbridge. 1891 shows the Master again as Henry McCrory.
In 1897 the foundation stone for a new Orange hall at Seagoe was laid by Baroness Von Stieglitz a member of the well known Blacker family. The Baroness had kindly donated the land on which the Orange hall was to he erected. In 1972 LOL 26 transferred from Lurgan District LOL 6 to Portadown District LOL 1.

The members of LOL 26 unfurled a new banner, featuring a painting of the nearby Seagoe Parish Church, on 26 June 1992. The chairman for the occasion was Bro. Harold Gracey, District Master. The unfurling ceremony was performed by Mrs A. Magee and the banner dedicated by W. Bro. Reverend Tom Taylor, Deputy County Grand Chaplain. The guest speaker at the meeting was the Ulster Unionist MP for Upper Bann, Bro. David Trimble.
