This car was burnt out by nationalists' from the Garvaghy Road. They rolled the car towards the security forces' as they started to leave the area after the Parkmount Junior LOL 150 successfully completed their annual parade. Note, the car was pushed to one side as can be seen on another picture were the tarmac on the road melted with the heat. (26-05-2001)

The Parades' Commission give the all clear for the junior parade who range in age from 6 years to 14 years to go ahead.

The nationalists used petrol bombs, acid bombs, bottles', broken kerbing, golf balls' and ball bearings on the security forces. The Garvaghy Road residents are the main instigators' as these pictures show.

They were ready to use all of these weapons on small defenseless Protestant children. Only the security forces had barriers' across the road to stop the rioting nationalists'.

What about Protestants' rights? and our Civil and Religious liberty? When are the nationalists going to Respect the Protestant tradition of parading?

Unlike nationalist republicans' the Orange Order stands for Civil and Religious Liberty for all regardless of religion and colour of a person's skin.

Where is the "Parity of Esteem?" for members of the loyal orders' and the greater Protestant community? Where is the RESPECT for anothers' tradition?
